I would personally like to extend a welcome to you and thank you for expressing your interest in The Houghton.

In 1876 Western Union questioned the viability of the telephone as a means of mass communication and stated that its application was limited and would not catch on. Today there are roughly more than 6 billion telephones in usage around the world. The Houghton as a project received a similar appraisal when many skeptics stated that the Houghton Golf Course would never be developed. In much the same manner, The Houghton apartment development received similar cynical publicity but in stark contrast the development team has emerged victoriously from the global economic crisis and as a team are confident that The Houghton will become Johannesburg’s premier residential apartment address.
